Chris Was the first athlete in history with Down Syndrome to complete an Ironman. He achieved this accolade at the Ironman Florida event back in November 2020.

In addition, Chris is a Guinness world record holder, winner of the 2020 ESPYS prestigious ’Jimmy V award for perseverance’ and winner of the ‘2020 Laureus sporting moment of the year’ award.

Chris also founded the 1% better foundation which aims to inspire inclusion and raise awareness for the Down Syndrome community.

Chris has a future packed full of competitive endeavours which will continue to challenge the status quo surrounding Down Syndrome athletes in elite sports.
